Our Story

Justin and Megan have been married since July 15, 2017, and are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child in July 2025. They recently graduated from the Memphis School of Preaching on January 23, 2025, and have long been passionate about mission work. Both have always loved traveling and learning about different cultures, with a particular interest in Japan due to its rich and vibrant heritage.

Justin’s fascination with Japan began in childhood when he first discovered Japanese animation, sparking a lifelong desire to visit the country. Similarly, Megan has dreamed of traveling to Japan—and many other countries—since she was young. Before attending MSOP, they ran their own business, traveling across the U.S. to conventions, where they sold costumes and props they crafted for cosplay.

Before discovering MSOP, the couple realized their deep desire to grow in their knowledge of the Bible and Christ’s teachings and to use their talents to share the Gospel. Their time at MSOP strengthened this calling, fueling their passion for mission work. Determined to take the next step, they worked diligently during their studies and committed to visiting Japan on a survey trip.
Through dedication and the support of others, they made the trip a reality—and fell even more in love with the country and its people.
Now, Justin and Megan are working hard in the U.S. to learn as much of the Japanese language as possible while preparing for future mission work. Their ultimate goal is to move to Japan and devote themselves fully to spreading the Gospel.
